Black Mirror

This concept started as an idea for one handed control to make a smartphone more accessible, and then leveraged the language of millennial selfie takers and the metaphor of the black mirror.

Why it matters: Many users insist on interacting with the smartphone with one hand, although the phone’s form factor does not lend itself to this without undue strain to the users wrists and fingers. This concept explored the potential of one-handed interaction and injected a bit of humor.
